Love Your Lawn
It’s that time of year again. The sun is (finally!) shining, we’re enjoying time outdoors and being able to get out into the garden – but with that comes the need to give our lawns a little extra TLC, so we can really make the most of it. Read on to discover our top tips for keeping your lawn in peak condition. Ready, set, mow!
1. The mow, the merrier!
Keep mowing your lawn regularly, even throughout dry spells when the grass is barely growing - it will just help to keep sprouts and weed seed heads at bay.
2. Fight your need to feed!
Grass will burn if you continue to feed your lawn in dry conditions. Only reseed patchy areas in cooler conditions. We’re sure it won’t take long for the great British weather to return…
3. Keep your lawn topped up!
When watering your lawn, make sure to give it a decent soak, leaving the sprinkler on for at least half an hour morning and night. Roots have a good memory, turning upwards to seek out the water which makes drought damage more likely - so it’s always better to give them more rather than less water.
